Things that give me TRIGGERS
Below is the list of things that give "me" a trigger... some things effect me more than others. I just keep adding to the list below as I keep learning what sets my airways off and how to try to avoid them.
Pollution in the air, most powder and liquid washing detergent, hair spray, wood smoke, dust, fabric softener, petrol fumes, diesel fumes, mold, some cooking smells, some animals - smell, perfume, spray deodorants, aftershave, air fresheners, potting mix, paint, varnish, glue, felt pens, hair dye, car fresheners, strong smelling shampoo and conditioner, body lotions, hand creams, cigarette smoke, 2nd hand cigarette smoke, wood smoke, nail polish, nail polish remover, diesel, gas, cleaning chemicals, underground car parks, fumes coming into my car, walking through a department store and especially going into an aisle that has cleaning products, carpet fibers, vacuuming, neoprene, fresh newspapers and the smell of the ink on the paper, fibers from new paper, display homes – flooring – benches etc. off gassing in a new home or caravan or wood off gassing (like from a newly built fence), the smell (chemicals) on Block Out curtains, really hot days/nights, really cold days/nights, Smell from BBQ - depending on the fuel used, chlorine, most soaps, incense, all candles that are scented, insect repellent, sun screen, the smell on some of my new masks (how ironic hey!), dishwasher tablets, formaldehyde etc.
